Normand Property Agencies is a locally owned and operated residential property management company. We are fully licensed in Saskatchewan but operate only in the city of Saskatoon.
We are looking for a self-motivated person who is willing to work with us as a property manager. The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Accept calls from potential clients, set up appointments and show the appropriate property to potential clients:
• Process (vet) applications from potential clients:
• Be able to decide on the best applicant to accept:
• Do a “check-in” and conditions report when the client moves in to a property and a “check-out” when tenants are vacating a premises:
• This person must also be able to understand the maintenance and upkeep of property as other responsibilities will include overseeing and/or coordinating maintenance of properties.
Other competencies expected of this person include:
• Having experience in dealing with the public as well as the ability to get along with others- he or she must be a “people person”:
• Experience in interviewing people and thus being able to make decisions about good clients would be required:
• Being highly flexible with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with owners, management and tenants:
• You must have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines:
• Effective written and oral communications skills are essential:
• Appropriate computer skills are a necessity:
You would be working as an independent contractor with the company and as such may do some of your office work from home. This job requires that the individual have a vehicle and also have an understanding and/or ability to locate and travel to properties around the city.
Remuneration would be commensurate with experience and ability.
