Simulated Client Services is currently seeking standardized patients to join the team of standardized patients for upcoming exams and projects in Calgary, Alberta.

Company Overview:
Our company offers a full-service solution for hiring and training standardized patients and staff for medical education, training events and OSCE's.

Job Summary:
The standardised patient is responsible for portraying a simulated patient in Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) scenarios in a clinical and non-clinical setting. They will be responsible for portraying specific emotions, behaviors and symptoms while interacting consistently and accurately with candidates.

Responsibilities:
• Memorize and rehearse the standardised patient scripts detailing specific emotions, behaviors.
• Ensure commitment, upholding the high standards of the Competence Test Centre, treat all candidates equally, undertake to learn roles accurately, and spend sufficient time rehearsing and be reliable and punctual.

Requirements:
• Must be within the age range of 45 to 80 years to be eligible for the position of standardized patient.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.


Qualifications:
Essentials:
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Professionalism and dedication to maintain the authenticity of the role during the examination.

Desirable:
• Qualification in Drama or related subject or significant relevant experience
• Experience of working as an actor
• Experience of working within a healthcare setting
