Respite/support worker needed for elderly woman with dementia. Located in North kildonan. 16 hours per week. Monday-Friday from 1pm-4pm. Hours may vary depending if she has appointments or day programming.

Qualifications:

Knowledgeable of dementia and alzheimers

Have up to date criminal record and vulnerable persons checks

Preferred valid drivers license

Preferred CPR/first aid

Compassionate

Friendly and outgoing


Duties and activities:

Puzzles
Gardening
Baking
Cooking
Walks
Companionship
Possible outings

These are all activities she enjoys. This also gives time for family to have a break and do things needed.

Hourly wage: $15.30
