Responsibilities:

Track & Tracing and sending updates to the customers.
Working with our driving fleet to guide and assist them.
Managing drivers start and ending times to the company needs.
Routing drivers through the city for timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
Assisting in the freight chain from customers request to delivery in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Managing a high level of email volume.
Taking orders from customers via email and phone, negotiating competitive rates, providing proper documentation and ensuring delivery schedules within an expedited time-frame.
Following up to ensure deliveries are on schedule according to the logistical plans of the team.
Expediting as necessary to ensure customers transportation requirements are taken care of.
Helping the team to determine the best way to ship, negotiating rates and providing all the necessary documentation.

Requirements:

Computer Skills required
High school diploma or equivalent with 1 years full-time work experience preferred;
Understanding of Flatbed trucking operations preferred
1 year experience with logistics and trucking operations preferred
Working in our trucking software to update shipments timely
Ensuring drivers follow safety guidelines
Ability to deal with a sporadic, fast-paced environment
Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
Strong work ethic, solid negotiation and conflict-management skills
Above average email management, computer and typing skills
Prior customer service skills.

Starting Salary: $16-$18 hourly
