Overview of Position
The AMI/MACTE Montessori Teacher is responsible for providing high quality early learning and care for children. This includes preparing, directing and assessing the positive emotional, physical, social and cognitive development of children by implementing appropriate activities and programs according to each child's individual developmental abilities, interests and needs.
Education & Training:
• Must be qualified as an AMI Montessori Teacher or a MACTE Montessori Teacher
• Should participate in at least 24 hours of professional development activities annually
• Must be certified in First Aid and CPR relevant to the age group being cared for
Experience Required
Some experience working with children in a similar environment is preferred
