We are a growing company in Alberta looking for Loyal, Hardworking, Reliable, Compassionate, Dog and cat loving individuals to join our team! Both full-time and part-time positions are available!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Positions: *available for all locations listed above

• Dog walker
• Cat and other pet handlers for drop-in vitis
• House sitting (overnight stays)
• Doggy day care handler
• Dog Trainer


Compensation:
Pay is a percentage of the service provided- paid twice a month (bi-weekly)


Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.

- Have a minimum of 1 year experience with pet care/services in the industry or a personal experience. This can also include dog daycare, boarding, assisting in dog training classes or volunteer work at a rescue or shelter facility.

- Availability Monday to Friday and weekends if interested

- Clean criminal background check

- Reliable vehicle and willingness to commute in poor weather conditions - Alberta

- Valid Driver's License

- Ability to transport animals in case of an emergency

- Have a strong work ethic

- Be able to walk dogs of all shapes/sizes/breeds

- A Positive Attitude

- Able to work in a team and independently


Responsibilities:
- Conduct meet and greet sessions with clients

- Provide private on leash dog walking services for dogs living within the same household. Walks are done in the dog's neighborhood.

- Pick up poop after every dog when walked and disposed properly

- Provide updates, pictures/videos for the services being completed so that they can be sent to the clients


Skills and Attributes:
- Must enjoy being outdoors during all weather conditions. (Outdoor services are modified in extremely hot and cold temperatures).

- Ability to work independently. Due to liability reasons, your family and pets may not join you during any services.

- Ability to lift 70lbs

- Ability to walk several hours in a day

- Understanding of dog body language

- Familiarity with force free, positive reinforcement handling methods

- Outstanding customer service skills

- Must be mature, dependable and willing to learn

- An interest in animal behavior training
