Uhaul Dealer Service Rep RV Storage Lot Attendant

Uhaul Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

RV Storage Customer Service Responsibilities:

•Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
•Answer inquiries about storage services and assist with customer requests.
•Perform routine inspections of the storage lot to ensure cleanliness and organization.
•Report any maintenance issues or security concerns to the management promptly.
•Monitor the entry and exit of RVs, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to security protocols.
•Collaborate with the owner to maintain a secure storage environment.
•Maintain accurate records of RVs entering and exiting the storage lot.
•Assist customers with the completion of necessary paperwork.

Customer Service Representative Minimum Qualifications:
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions.

Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted.
