Davisville Tennis Club is a community tennis club located on the North-West corner of Mt. Pleasant and Davisville Ave. in Toronto.

We are looking for a Court Manager to oversee the day to day operations of the tennis club. Overseeing a team of part-time Court Stewards, you will assist in the hiring, training and development of these employees while fostering strong relationships with club members and the Board of Directors. The Court Manager is expected to contribute to Davisville Tennis Club's friendly and relaxed atmosphere through their own enthusiasm and friendliness and by inspiring the Court Stewards to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include:
Scheduling of court stewards to ensure full coverage during club opening hours
Training and supervision of court stewards
Overseeing the general maintenance and upkeep of the court facilities including inventory management
Supporting the Board of Directors
Interacting with and supporting club membership
Attending club special events
Conflict resolution


Qualifications:
Experience training and managing a team
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to take initiative
Energetic, responsible and friendly
Ability to handle and account for cash
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets
Previous customer service experience would be an asset
First aid and CPR training would be an asset
Tennis experience is not required but would be an asset


The club is open evenings and weekends, starting in April and run until the first week of October with possible hours on weekends until the end of October.
