This Hughes & Kettner Metal Shredder is a rare rack unit that can be used as a fully functional tube amp, a tube preamp, or with a cabinet emulator! Packed in this little half-rack enclosure is a full featured, tube-preamped, direct-recording guitar head.
It's equipped with two 12AX7 (ECC83) preamp tubes, a 4.5W solid-state power amp, and a simple EQ section.
