Eager to rent grain farm land in Southeast Saskatchewan. Primarily looking in the Estevan-Midale-Stougton-Frobisher area, though willing to look elsewhere in the Southeast region for a block large enough to suit our operating goals.

3rd-Generation Saskatchewan farmer father and son operation re-entering agriculture (out 2000, back in 2019) and looking for land to rent to expand our operation, to a size similar to the small family farm we left years prior.

At the moment we are farming a small owned chunk of land and a rented quarter section near Estevan. Older well-cared for equipment, suitable to cover far more ground yearly than we currently farm, and able to upgrade slightly as needed, if required.

Currently searching to acquire a disk for fall tillage of unseeded/drowned out ground, breaking dried sloughs, etc. if desired. Rock picking done as required. Harrowing as well, but minimally as required to neatly manage residue effectively.

Direct minimum-tillage seeding, no tillage beyond breaking un-cultivated ground, herbicide weed control, proper crop rotation, with interests in further exploring soil health and soil preservation/regenerative practices. Able to wash down equipment between landowners as a biosecurity measure if desired.

Interested in looking at any amount of land to get us closer to a currently manageable 1000-1500 acre operating range, with hopes of landing in the 1900-2200 acre range in years to come.
