After taking a few years off from running my day home, I realized that my passion for working with children never left me. During that time, I worked in patient care at the Children's Hospital, and being around children every day reminded me just how much I missed the joy of nurturing little ones in a home setting. That love and passion inspired me to reopen my day home.
I originally ran my bilingual day home (Italian and Spanish) for 16 years, and I'm so excited to open my doors once again. Ours is an Italian household, and like many Italian homes, family is at the heart of everything we do. I welcome your child into not just a childcare setting—but into a warm, loving, and family-centered environment. My home is their home, and the children in my care are treated as family.
All meals are homemade with love, and our home is pet-friendly—we have two friendly chihuahuas who are wonderful with children. I hold valid First Aid certification and up-to-date police clearance.
I believe in fostering a safe, engaging, and individualized approach to childcare where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and thrive at their own pace. Our days are filled with preschool-style activities, including:
• Drawing with crayons and markers
• Reading storybooks
• Letter recognition games (like alphabet puzzles and flashcards)
• Sorting by color, shape, and size
• Dancing and music movement
• Puppet shows and imaginative play
• Circle time (calendar, songs, sharing)
• Lots of free play to spark creativity and confidence
