I decided to open my home to the sweetest little kitten near the end of the pandemic. Unfortunately, I did not have permission from my landlord to have Boots therefore I am now in a position where I have to rehome my pet. While the deadline to rehome of June 4th has passed, if you decide your interested in welcome Boots into your family, please respond as soon as possible so you can meet him so you can make the decision.

My re-inspection is Friday July 11th and I will have to provide proof of a reasonable rehoming date or a surrender date to an animal shelter.

From the beginning, Boots has been naturally insightful to my emotions while always showing that curious side wanting to know what's going on. Boots is patient, even with the rough play my grandson bestows him, Boots will wait for the moment to break free. Boots loves a special blanket, chair or sofa (more than his own cat bed) to curl up on and nap several times throughout the day. It's one of his favourite pastimes. Food is his second passion.

Boots weighed almost 12lbs on his last veterinary visit in June. Due to this, the vet has put Boots on a restricted diet, only 1/3 cup twice a day. No more than one lickable cat treat or wet food added to a meal a day. While Boots will drink from a regular water dish, he prefers running water. A tap or his water fountain cat dish (which sadly broke).

Boots is quite a social buddy. He has had regularly playdates with other cats since he was a kitten. He will groom his fellow cats and almost seems to play the role of Elder. He will literally chat with you throughout the day. If he needs water “meow”, food “meow”, treat time “meow”, cuddle time “meow.”

Boots is the ultimate snuggle buddy! He will be as close to you as you want him to be…and maybe even when you don't LOL!
