‍♂️ The Role: Abatement Technician
You'll be part of a team that removes hazardous materials from residential and commercial buildings using the proper procedures, equipment, and PPE. You'll work directly on job sites to set up containment, operate negative air machines, perform abatement, and clean and restore spaces safely and efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits:
Starting wage: $22–$26/hour (based on experience & certifications)

Paid on-site training

✅ Requirements (Must-Have):
Must be clean-shaven – this is a non-negotiable safety requirement for proper PAPR/respirator seal and OHS compliance

Valid Class 5 driver's license reliable transportation

Physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs, standing, bending, and working in PPE

Punctual, reliable, and willing to work full-time (Mon–Fri, occasional weekends)

Fluent in English (spoken and written for documentation and safety procedures)

Assets (Nice to Have, Not Required):
Prior experience in asbestos, mold, or hazardous material abatement

Asbestos Worker Certification (we can help you obtain this)

WHMIS, First Aid, Fit Test, Fall Protection, or other safety tickets

Construction, roofing, or demolition background

️ What You'll Do:
Contain work areas with poly sheeting and negative air systems

Safely remove mold, asbestos, or vermiculite under supervision

Load, clean, and transport equipment

Adhere to all OHS regulations, company SOPs, and safety protocols

Complete job logs and documentation

Represent Alberta Mold Pros professionally with clients and teammates
