Eight magazines in total, all with a royalty theme. There are five "Star Weekly" on the Royal visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in June 1939 (just before the Second World War). All in good condition considering they are 86 years old, although note that the May/June 1939 issue with the painting of the King on the cover has loose covers. The other Star Weeklys are in remarkably good shape, a tear or two but not serious. There's one magazine called "Sphere" from February 1952 featuring the funeral of King George VI in good condition. Next is an London Illustrated News, February 1952, WITH NO FRONT OR BACK COVER about the funeral. Except for the covers, all intact. Finally, a "Picturegoer" from May 1953 about Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. In good shape. All of these magazines contain mostly photos (Picturegoer is a latter-day trashy magazine), many of which likely exist no where else. They are a piece of history.
