**What you'll do:**

* **Attend and minute meetings:** Take clear and concise minutes during our regular (e.g., bi-weekly/monthly) meetings and distribute them to members.
* **Manage communications:** Assist with drafting and sending out emails, newsletters, and other important communications to our volunteers and community members.
* **Maintain records:** Help organize and maintain our digital and physical files, ensuring information is easily accessible.
* **Support our team:** Provide general administrative support to the Neighbourhood Shield executive team as needed.

**What we're looking for:**

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., word processing, email).
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to our cause.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous secretarial or administrative experience is a plus, but not required – we're happy to provide guidance!
