It's mined ONLY from the Ouachita Mountain region of Central Arkansas.

2) This is the workhorse used prior to finishing. It's a coarse companion white Wichita whetstone (320 grit) to the black Arkansas stone.

3) This is a vice-type on-stone guide accommodating blade widths from 1'8” to 3”.

Purchased new, I've owned all of four since 1970, when I began my career in cabinetry. They are to be sold as ONE unit only, not separately. You can make a leather strop out of an old wide belt. The price is firm. I'm beginning the downsizing of my practice.
