About the Role:

BKT Excavating is seeking a skilled and experienced Sewer and Water Foreman to lead on-site operations for underground utility installations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team on a variety of infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate sewer and water crews to ensure work meets job specifications and drawings

• Oversee daily job site operations, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity

• Ensure safety protocols and union regulations are followed at all times

• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and inspectors

• Keep accurate records of job progress and crew performance



Qualifications:

• Experience as a foreman in sewer and water or heavy civil construction

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices

• Union membership is an asset but not required upon application
