About Us:
Alden's Shutters and Doors is a trusted name in commercial and residential door services. We specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead doors, loading dock equipment, and related systems. As demand grows, we're looking to add a skilled and reliable Overhead Door Technician to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair commercial and residential overhead doors and operators
Diagnose issues with door systems, motors, springs, and tracks
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Provide excellent customer service on-site and in communication
Travel to job sites (company vehicle provided)
Requirements:

Experience in overhead/garage door installation and repair preferred (will train the right candidate)
Basic electrical and mechanical skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift 75 lbs, work at heights, and use hand and power tools
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Willingness to work overtime or on-call when needed
Preferred but Not Required:

Experience with dock levelers, rolling steel doors, or fire doors
