We are currently seeking a full-time Home Care Worker (30 hours per week) to assist with the care of my mother, who has special needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elderly individuals requiring special care and must have weekend availability or flexible working hours.

Position Details
Title: Home Care Worker – Private Home
Salary: $25.00 / hour
Hours:
• Wednesday to Saturday: 5 hours/day
• Sunday: 10 hours
• Flexible working hours as needed

Qualifications
• Education: Completion of a relevant program in caregiving or personal support
• Credentials:
First Aid Certificate
CPR Certificate
Valid Driver's Licence (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 6 months in a similar caregiving role

Job Duties
• Assist the resident with daily living activities such as dressing, personal hygiene, and meal preparation, as directed by the employer
• Maintain the resident's privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Respond appropriately in emergencies by contacting the employer immediately and not leaving the resident unattended
• Keep a daily log of the resident's behavior and care
• Treat the resident with kindness, respect, and a positive attitude while delivering high-quality service
