1.5 yo aussie collie mix. She is medium size approximately 50lbs.
Roxy is an absolutely fantastic dog. I adopted her temporarily because her previous owner abandoned her. Now we are seeking a suitable forever home for her.
Roxy is a herding dog and needs a job to do. She is very good at her job protecting her people however, this also means that she can be unpredictable with new comers.
She is house trained and does not chew furniture when she is alone in the house. Roxynwill tell you when she wants to go for a walk. She self sooths by sucking on her stuffy toys.
She loves water, the beach and playing ball. She has great potential for learning special tricks. Recall is good.
From what I've been told she is up to date with vaccines and I just treated her with flea and tick drops. A side note that she absolutely hated the smell of the tick meds. I would suggest a different method for her next time. She is just finishing up her heat cycle. She has never had a litter.
I did pay for Roxy and have bought her several items including some feeding puzzles to exercise her mind. I do not want to be compensated for her but, I will be particular with where she goes so that she has the best chance at her best life. It would be best if she were at a farm where she can work. She is good around children and cats I am unsure about other dogs. If you are looking for a herding dog Roxy is number one.
What is not good for Roxy is an apartment life or homes with a revolving door. She needs lots of exercise and a job to do.
