We are seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Car Detailer / Mechanic to join our team at Ride and Shine. In this dual role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality detailing services to make vehicles look their best, as well as completing basic mechanical inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure vehicles run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Car Detailing:
• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors by hand or using cleaning equipment.
• Wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicles.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and deodorize vehicle interiors, including carpets and upholstery.
• Clean and treat leather and vinyl surfaces.
• Apply protective finishes to exteriors and interiors as needed.
• Inspect finished work to ensure customer satisfaction and quality standards.

Mechanical Work:
• Perform basic inspections and routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and battery replacements.
• Diagnose minor mechanical issues and complete minor repairs under supervision if necessary.
• Assist senior mechanics with more complex repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in car detailing and/or automotive repair is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and mechanical work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina; able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Work Schedule:

Full-time or part-time; may include weekends depending on business needs.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage, depending on experience. Benefits may be available.
