All registered Dorper sheep.
Reason for selling: lack of time to properly care for the sheep (I feel bad to see them leave)
This is a good foundation flock. 8 of the ewes are only 1.5yrs old, and they have all had one successful lambing. All 10 ewes were from Kettle Crest Farm, near St Thomas. Art and Sandra from Kettle Crest are excellent to work with and they are respected Dorper sheep breeders that are active in the sheep industry. The ram is the most gentle ram I have ever had, and he serviced all the young ewes fine. He produced very good robust lambs with good colour and conformation. All sheep have been vaccinated with TasVax and have have Ivomec drench for worms/parasites. All sheep receive free-choice a dry mineral mix, a mineral Multi-Bloc mix with molasses, and some pelleted sheep supplement feed that is medicated with Bovatec 2X daily. All 11 adult sheep were recently sheared to help reduce heat stress.
