Lead Hand, UV Department (Nights)

We're looking for a Lead Hand for our UV Department on the | night shift |. Training will take place on the afternoon shift.

The most important thing is that you have experience leading a small team and can learn our processes.

Duties & Expectations:

* Support the team in achieving daily production targets and KPIs.
* Monitor line performance and proactively address issues impacting productivity or quality.
* Ensure proper handoff and communication between shifts to maintain continuity and minimize downtime.
* Champion and enforce safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
* Act as the main point of contact for urgent issues, escalating to the Production Manager as needed.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and encourage team contributions.
* Verify material availability and readiness for upcoming jobs.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Strong understanding of UV coating/lamination processes and equipment.
* Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
* Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
* Basic computer skills (reports, data entry, MaintainX).
* Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Previous experience as an operator or lead in a manufacturing environment (preferably UV or coatings) is an asset.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour, negotiable BASED ON EXPERIENCE.
