Our customer is looking for an experienced Dough Mixer with at least 2 years of experience and the ability to lift and push up to 20 Kg.
Location: Mississauga, ON L5A2X1
Timing: 5 am-Finish (usually about 9-10 hours)
OR
3 pm-Finish (usually about 9-10 hours)
Pay rate: $18.50 to $20(based on the experience)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lifting, pouring and mixing all raw ingredients into machinery as per recipe instructions schedule provided. This includes weighing, measuring, and verification of proper ingredients
• Need to lift sugar bag of 20 KG to waist height to empty in a hopper.
• Work with other team members as appropriate to gather and/or lift materials as needed.
• Report any discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
• Rotate mixed batches back and forth to the line being served.
• Ensuring strict adherence to the recipes provided is followed
• Setting and monitoring accurate controls on machinery as per recipe instructions to ensure high quality product
• Be familiar with appropriate machinery and be able to troubleshoot as needed
• Document all used product as needed and report back to the production supervisor on a daily basis.
• Ensure work area, tools and supplies are kept organized and sanitary throughout the shift.
• Follow all Food Safety and Safety Procedures as outlined by company policy
• Adhere to all quality and safety requirements and report to supervisor as needed
• Assist with cleaning equipment during change over and shut downs
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
• Adhere to all proper guarding and lock out procedures
• Consistently meet daily targeted product parameters.
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent education level as a minimum requirement
• 3-4 years' experience in field.
• Ability to comprehend basic verbal and written instructions (English).
• Basic math skills (Addition-Subtraction-Multiplication-Division).
• Ability to write clearly and legibly
• Basic Computer Skills (data entry)
• Strong Multi-tasking and time management skills
• Ability to follow instructions with high attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Syspro is considered and asset
• Being able to work with a team and independently with little to no supervision
• Strong Organizational skills
• Adaptable to changing conditions
• Food/bakery Manufacturing experience is a MUST
