I found this beautiful German Sheppard X dog crossing the 660 highway in the M.D of Bonnyville 3 weeks ago. He appeared to be slowing starving to death. He had on a blue collar with no tags. He's been scanned at the SPCA and has no microchip. I've been trying to find him a forever home out here since then without any luck. This is why I'm posting this ad. He is free to a good home.

We've named him Rocky. He could be possibly up to 2 years old and not neutered. He has come a long way since being found. Rocky is extremely smart and is no longer afraid to go indoors. He now knows what dog food is and enjoys meal times. It took him 2 days to be trained to do his business outside, following the lead of my 2 dogs. Rocky is kind, gentle, calm, loyal, protective and great with other animals and people. Of course he is still a bit timid and will lie down and submit when scared or approached too fast. He is now able to walk on a leash and doesn't even pull!!! He would make a wonderful companion.

I live near Bonnyville and would be willing to drive up to a few hours away to meet anyone seriously interested in taking him. My number is 403-464-5418.
