My son was a National level swimmer and wrecked his shoulder at Nationals. He was operated upon and assigned this post-operative equipment. His shoulder was wrapped/ harnessed and ice water was sent from an ice container through tubes within the harness to promote healing. It slept in it for 3-4 weeks. I will let this less than 1/2 the price I paid.
