Two professionally framed and matted Limited Edition artworks from celebrated Canadian artist Peter Etril Snyder (1944 – 2017). Both are priced individually or can be purchased together for a greatly reduced price.
Both different sized painting reproductions are offered separately but have complementing wood frames and matting. They would look great together or accenting a room being placed further apart. Both pieces vividly capture gone-by eras … simpler times.

The larger “Country Stream” (images 1 – 5) measures 33”W x 27”H and is personally signed (image 2) with its Limited Edition 177/250 penciled in the lower left corner. It was purchased directly from Synder's studio in 1981. Vibrant autumn colours in the detailed traditional scene: tilling soil using a team of four horses hitched to a plow.

“Cook's Tavern” (images 6 – 9) has also been personally signed and its Limited Edition 217/950 is penciled in the lower left of the lithograph. It was purchased in 1983 and has always been displayed in one smoke-free home. It measures 25”W x 21”H and has the same frame style / colour and matting as the larger artwork above. The actual “Cook's Tavern” is located in Upper Canada Village. (image 9)

Both of Synder's artworks are behind original glass ready to be displayed in your home or office setting. (image 5) These two reproductions are in pristine condition. The frames, glass and mounting wires are also in excellent condition. The backing paper is in very good condition on both artworks.

The ARTIST: Peter Snyder was born in 1944 in Waterloo, Ontario. After studying at the Ontario College of Art, he spent most of the 1960s touring around Europe and America. He was fascinated by the simple way of life in his hometown, and this became a large focus for his work. His detailed paintings are mainly in acrylic and focus on landscapes. Snyder enjoyed a prolific career spanning over 50 years, achieving distinction nationally and internationally. His artworks are now collectors' pieces.
