Please meet Ragnarok, who is looking for a very special home!

Ragnarok is a roughly 3 year old Super Pastel ball python male. Ragnarok was a transfer from our friends at the HREF Raft team in Edmonton, who had received Ragnarok after surrender with some burns from an un-regulated heat pad. He has fully recovered but he has 'retained the heat' from his run in. Ragnarok is a very spicy little snake. Who is extremely nervous and has very little confidence. This little guy needs someone confident in handling who will not be intimidated or scared of taking a bite from him. We believe with continued confidence and trust building he will tame down but this will take time and persistence. He is still young enough that this can be worked on. Ragnarok is not a suitable pet for children as they will get tagged and can hurt him in the process. Ragnarok once removed and given a calm handling session does show some confidence but again, he needs continuous work.

It must be noted that you will be REQUIRED to prove you can take this animal out from his enclosure unassisted by DVRR staff. We are sorry but if you are unable to, we will decline the adoption, regardless of how far you traveled or how good the application is. Please only apply if you understand this requirement!

Ragnarok is currently eating a F/T adult mouse weekly with enthusiasm! Ragnarok does not come with an enclosure and one will need to be provided for him. He will require multiple hides, a large sized water dish, and all kinds of fun things for him to explore and climb over. He will need regulated heating as well as proper humidity. He will need appropriate belly heat regulated with a thermometer and regulator. If EXTENSIVE research is done and shown in the application, we may allow alternative heat sources however if you REFUSE to use a regulator we REFUSE to adopt to you. Ragnarok's adoption fee is $75.00.

In order to take Ragnarok home, proof of proper enclosure is required. Please respond to this ad and we will return the proper adoption forms and information to you. If you are unwilling to fill out our forms, please do not bother to reply.

We are located in Drayton Valley and while we encourage pick up we do offer delivery (once the adoption has been processed and approved) with a fee based on mileage and current gas prices. We require payment in full prior to leaving. All documentation must be filled out prior to anything to protect both parties and our animals.
