We are looking for a manager with excellent life experience to work 5 days per week but likely only 4 hours per day assisting in managing our awesome staff in day to day operations of the small east side hotel very close to the University. Some duties include managing housekeeping staff, working with front desk staff to maintain good customer relations, managing the cleanliness of the building both inside and out, some maintenance such as plunging a toilet or fixing a chair, and many other duties including backing up the front desk manager and also assuming the roles of the owners when they are away. This is a new position and the door is open to many other facets of the business for the right candidate. Hours of work are negotiable and wage is also negotiable depending on the candidate. Likely starting at around $17 per hour. Ideal candidate could be a semi-retired person or a person who recently retired and want sot stay in the workforce with a not so stressful position.
