to use this antenna with handheld scanner you need an adapter to fit your scanner.. you can get one from ME or you can search Amazon, etc or anywhere online or a local radio shop to get one.... its easy. I have them for $20-$25 each or *FREE* with antenna purchase if needed to work with YOUR scanner!
You do NOT need an adapter for any Motorola INcar scanner radio such as ASTRO, SPECTRA, APX etc. it just fits.
