Sonic Assault Weapons, this 13" snare is 6 3/4" deep, and features flush inlaid maple re-rings, which are steambent. I originally built this drum in 2016, and this week I tore it down and brought the natural Birdseye maple out with 2 part BASF urethane automotive clear. It has 10 Pearl style lugs and heavy single flange hoops with clips. The clips on the top have been machined to fit flush with the top of the hoop. This somewhat elimates having to worry about cracking rimshots without getting hung up by protuding tension rod and clips. The drum has beautiful bottom end, very warm and meaty for a 13. A great looking snare, well built and will fit in with most musical styles. I have been building custom drums for decades now, and some of my work can be viewed on my FB page SAW drums. There is not a big margin for profit in custom boutique building, so I do not have a website at the moment.
