Job Posting: Experienced Bookkeeper (Part-Time)
We are currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our team on a part-time basis (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).
Responsibilities include:
• Printing and managing payroll reports
• Preparing and submitting WSIB and Union remittances
• Handling Receiver General (bi-weekly remittances)
• Producing Trial Balance and G/L Detail Reports
• Completing Year-End Financials
• Performing Bank Reconciliations
• Managing Fiscal Year-End close
• Recording Cash Receipts
• Handling bookkeeping duties for a small company (Mar Dan), including preparing T5018 slips
• Learning and assisting with payroll; must be willing to cross-train with others to provide coverage when needed
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years bookkeeping experience
• Experience with Star builder would be preferable
• Proficient in year-end preparation and bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with WSIB, Receiver General, and Union reporting
• Experience with small business accounting and T5018 reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Position Details:
• Part-time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
• Starting rate: $30.00/hour
