Rayan Environmental is seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise. The Forklift Operator will also be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, quality control, performing routine maintenance on the forklift and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
• Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
• Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as checking oil and water levels and reporting any malfunctions
• Ensure inventory accuracy by verifying and documenting the quantity and quality of items received and shipped
• Load and unload trucks and containers using the forklift
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
• Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid forklift operator certification (Rayan can provide training if required)
• At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions: The Forklift Operator will work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors. The position may require working in a cold or hot environment, depending on the nature of the merchandise being handled.
