Job Overview:
We are a warm and respectful family in Westmount, QC looking for a responsible and caring live-in caregiver to provide full-time child care support in our home. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and creating a nurturing and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for children in the employer's residence

Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children

Assist with feeding, hygiene, and dressing

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Perform light housekeeping duties related to child care (e.g., laundry, tidying up play areas)

Accompany children to appointments and recreational activities

Engage children in age-appropriate educational and fun activities

Job Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of full-time child care experience (in a home or daycare setting)

Language: Must be able to communicate in English

Preferred Credentials: Valid First Aid and CPR certification (an asset but not required)

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Wage: $17.00/hour

Overtime Pay: Paid for hours over 40/week

Vacation Pay: 4% of gross wages

Accommodation: Free live-in accommodation provided
(Private bedroom and access to household amenities)

Schedule:
Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Days: Monday to Friday

Time: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Flexibility Required: Occasional mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
