:Sandwich/Salad Maker & Customer Service

STATUS: Full Time, Mon – Sunday between 9:00am and 9:00pm
START DATE: Immediately
REPORTS TO: General Manager

PROFILE
The Carvery is a European style roasts shop, serving customers with roast meals, sandwiches, salads, and assorted baked goods.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kitchenhand

• Prepare and cook raw materials for roast meals, salads, sandwiches, etc. Such as peeling and cutting vegetables, roasting meats, baking breads and replenishing supplies.
• Support opening and closing store to standards.
• Act as a backup person for making roast meats, sandwiches, baking, etc.;
• Serving customers in case it is requested.
• Keeps work area clean and properly stocked.
• Ensures all food meet company standards prior to delivery/service;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Data record to meet food safe requirements.

Sandwich/Salad maker & Customer Service

• Responsible for preparing vegetables & ingredients, making salads, sandwiches, preparing dressings and replenishing supplies.
• Support opening and closing store to standards.
• Serving customer for taking order, making meals and cashier checking out, etc.;
• Provides superior food services to customers' satisfaction.
• Preparing hot/cold drinks.
• Keeps work area clean and properly stocked.
• Ensures all food meet company standards prior to delivery / service.
• Data record to meet food safe requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a authorized work permit in Canada
• Able to manage own time and prepare food items efficiently by required time
• Ability to follow recipes
• Skill in measuring and/or weighing ingredients and proper portioning of food to be served
• Skill in using kitchen equipment related to the job description
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work independently and / or with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Work Experience is desirable
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language
