I'm the original owner of this mixer and it has served me very well. I ran sound for a couple of local concert series and this was a dream to use. I would set the mixer up at the front of the stage with the ipad controlling it, Then with a 2nd ipad I could wander around and check the sound from anywhere in the room and make adjustments. I'm selling with an apple airport express to set up the wifi and an older ipad that you can set up for yourself.
In the pictures I've got it set up with that older ipad and a new ipad hooking up wirelessly, I've also shown that you can use a new ipad with an adapter to run the mixer and again use another ipad wirelessly to control.
The effects that are built in are extremely good and I never found a reason to run any external patch gear. If you have music loaded up in your ipad, you can play that between sets.
It will also record a mixdown of whatever you have going to the main speakers. I've made many recordings of performers that I've run sound for.
