2000 Porsche Boxster S-6 speed, 250 HP
I'm considering offering up my 2000 Porsche Boxster S to another car enthusiast. It has its original silver paint, no accidents and a very rare red leather interior.
This car was legally imported from Kentucky in 2010 by a previous owner (Carfax confirmed and available at viewing)
I purchased the car in early 2022 as it was stored but needed a clutch. The mechanical work was done at an authorized Porsche facility and my intention was to make it into a reliable advanced drivers' car in the Porsche club. This work entailed.
• New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and Hawk performance brakes
• New IMS bearing and rear main seal
• New flywheel, pressure plate and new clutch assembly
• New cam plugs, air oil separator, spark plugs, spark plug tubes and coils
• Replaced alternator, serpentine belt, tensioner and idler pully
• Replaced ignition switch, serviced starter, and replaced front and rear hood struts
• Replaced water pump
The majority of work done on the car was preventative in nature while the engine and transmission were dropped. I wanted to set my car up as a reliable car for Porsche track weekends, but I've lost interest in the driving schools and now only use it for weekend jaunts. It will be certified with an appropriate deposit and if its still posted its still available so don't ask.
