The BOSS LM-2 Limiter circuit
Secret sauce always on type of effect.
Some prefer this over the usual Compressor.
Find the sweet spot using the Threshold and boost volume for unity gain or a signal boost.
The tone pot can add lots of clarity and definition if wanted\needed.
I'm using a genuine dbx PC1252H2 VCA (long out of production; most clones will not have this IC).
