About the Project:
Mainframe Residences is a 20-unit residential development in Calgary, featuring a concrete basement 6 levels of wood-frame construction, with a detached mechanical car parking garage. We're building modern, compact homes with smart space solutions, and construction is starting very soon.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee all on-site activities and ensure project milestones are met with high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure construction activities align with project plans and schedules.
Coordinate and supervise all trades and subcontractors on-site.
Lead pre-construction meetings 2 weeks before each new activity.
Maintain and forecast detailed construction schedules.
Ensure that work is completed on time, to spec, and deficiency-free.
Manage on-site cleanliness, quality control, and safety.
Document deficiencies and follow up with trades for timely resolution.
Schedule and coordinate inspections with consultants (architectural, structural, mechanical, etc.).
Communicate progress and scheduling updates to stakeholders and Senior project managers.
Maintain accurate daily logs and reports on site activity.

✅ Qualifications & Requirements:
5 years of supervisory experience in residential or multi-unit construction (wood-frame preferred).
Diploma or Degree in Construction Management or relevant field is an asset.
Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to work outdoors year-round and walk through residential sites.
Police clearance may be required.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and access all areas of the construction site.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs or scaffolding, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Must be comfortable working at heights and within partially completed structures.
Manual dexterity and coordination for inspecting or documenting site conditions.
