It is a nice dark black,looks lighter from the fluorescent light . Soft Italian leather. Has adjustable head rests and arms. Probably the comfiest leather couch I've ever sat on. Heavy, great quality. Size is 8.5 ft in length , chaise is 5 ft long but width of the chaise is 46 inches. Clean, smoke and pet free ! Comes apart in two pieces.
