Position Overview:
As a Parts Advisor, you will be a front-line contact for customers and technicians seeking truck and trailer parts. You will play a key role in inventory management, customer service, and internal logistics. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist customers and technicians with identifying and sourcing the correct parts.
- Organize and put away incoming stock orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assemble bearing kits and prepare parts packages for service jobs.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels; assist in making stock orders when needed.
- Receive, verify, and shelve incoming parts shipments.
- Pick, pack, and label parts for outgoing orders or internal use.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts storage area.
- Sell parts over the counter and by phone; provide excellent customer service.
- Use inventory systems to track parts movement and availability.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely job completion.
- Perform periodic inventory counts and help with inventory management processes.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a parts or warehouse environment is an asset, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and order entry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
