The Showcase series is Simon & Patrick's flagship top tier model line, featuring the company's finest solid tone woods, high gloss finish, mahogany necks, and ebony fingerboards. This Showcase Rosewood A6T was crafted in 2014 and features a solid spruce top with Adirondack spruce bracing, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, multi-ply alternating wooden binding on all 3 sides, and a multi-ply rosewood rosette, pearl/abalone headstock inlay, and gold hardware. The A6T on-board electronics includes an under the saddle transducer, and 3 separate transducers glued on the bridge plate, that can be blended and equalized from the control panel.

The Adirondack bracing is the same construction as the Seagull Artists, with Martin body shape, measurements and scale length. The frets are level, polished, and dressed. The action is just under 5/64" on the base side and 4/64" on the treble. Every string is intonated, and buzz free across the fretboard making for an easy and fun to play dreadnought guitar. Responsive, great projection, and quite punchy even with fingerstyle. Built like a tank yet quite light at 4.5lbs.
