We offer a wide range of forklifts, skyjacks, scissor lifts, skid steers, loaders, excavators for sale, rent, repairs, services and transport. We are looking for heavy equipment mechanic to join our team, will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems.
Job Description: Maintain, Troubleshoot and Repair Various Forklifts, Skyjacks, Skid steers, Excavators and other Heavy machinery of all different brands and sizes: gas, propane, electric, and diesel.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Education and Other Skills: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Or equivalent experience. Area of Specialization: Heavy Equipment's Specific Skills: Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts. Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance. Perform scheduled maintenance and service. Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults. Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor. Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanism and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts.


Duties:
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues on heavy equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Use schematics and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs
Skills:
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Ability to lift heavy equipment parts
- Knowledge of HVAC systems in heavy machinery
- Familiarity with heavy machinery is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues efficiently
- Customer service skills to interact with clients and provide updates on repairs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30-$35.00 per hour (Salary negotiable as per experience)
Schedule: 8 Hours Day Shift (Monday to Friday)
Experience: Mechanical/Technician- Minimum of 3 years
Work Location: 2299 Drew Road Mississauga, Ontario
