I have been around guitars for the better part of 40 yeas now. I can change your new electric guitar strings and setup your electric guitar. Setting up your guitar is especially important after changing to lighter or heavier strings than what the guitar originally came with. It's also a good idea to do a setup on a new guitar because often from the factory they are setup with very high string height making them somewhat harder to play for some.

The old strings are removed then the fretboard is cleaned and conditioned. I also clean the entire guitar and detail it. The new strings are installed, the nut and bridge are lubed to help keep the guitar in tune. I then adjust your string height to your preference. Some people prefer low action and some prefer high action. Lastly the intonation is checked and corrected. Improperly adjusted intonation can make some chords and notes sound strange. I am in Cumberland a couple minutes before/after Orleans. Price is $75 for a complete setup including string change. You supply the strings. I can currently supply Ernie Ball strings (9 gauge). $10 for those. Done within a couple hours depending on the job. If you just want your strings changed I can do that as well for $30. I can also change the strings on your acoustic guitars.
