As a professional Music Teacher of 11 years teaching experience, I've had the honour and pleasure to coach students of all ages (as young as 3 and as young as 80) at several reputable music studios located in the Toronto core and outer GTA.
A graduate of the York University Music Program (Honours BFA, class of 2013), I've taught piano, guitar, drums, bass, ukulele, mandolin, and advanced theory in a wide range of genres including classical, jazz, rock, rnb, folk, pop, and metal.
Outside of teaching, I'm also a songwriter, composer, a solo recording artist, and a 16 year veteran of the local music scene wherein I've played in a host of bands in a range of styles and instrumentation and have been a frontman, singer, and bandleader for 13 of those years.
I'm currently seeking to expand my roster of private students, either virtually or in person (though virtual is generally preferred), with the first lesson free of charge, no strings attached!
My going rate currently sits at 35/half hour virtually, 60/hour virtually, and 70/hr for in-person to teach at the client's preferred location.
My philosophy has always been that music is for everyone – regardless of level, ability, intention or ultimate outcome, it is meant to be enjoyed and I intend to live by this philosophy with every lesson I teach.
