This book was printed by Chrysler in February of 1977 to help improve the performance of hemis on the race track. The book recommends specific Chrysler part numbers for several different types of parts for racing. It explains what is stock and what racing parts may be used, and includes specs for some parts. When a choice is available, it explains why you could choose one part or another, depending on the level of racing or type of racing. Find out when one parts change will require another (for example, you'll need to change the voltage regulator on pre-69 cars when you install an electronic ignition). Learn about how original parts can be modified instead of replaced in some cases. Parts are recommended based on whether the engine being modified is a street hemi or a race hemi. Installation tips are included. You'll find some specifications, such as engine assembly torque specs, as well as engine specs for each year. You'll see lists of parts for different packages, such as Super Stock, AHRA-IHRA Formula Stock, Pro Stock, and NASCAR.
