Abalon Foundation Repairs has been operating in Edmonton and Western Canada since 1970. We are experienced in Foundation Repairs from typical residential homes, to large commercial or industrial structures. 1st Position (Operator): Abalon is hiring 1 experienced Equipment (Excavator / Skid steer), operator to assist our team with excavating around foundations of commercial properties. Must have experience excavating around exposed utilities safely, tight access situations, and using anywhere from 3.5 tone - 10 tone excavators, and tracked / wheeled skid steers. Leading Crews and knowledge of foundation construction is also appreciated. Wage for Operator: $35 - $50 per hour based on experience. Must have valid drivers license to get to sites. 2nd position Skilled Laborer:
Skilled General Laborer Position - 1 Hire as well.
This would involve assisting carpenters, shop staff, and crews on site with construction related tasks. Assisting with inventory, manual labor, driving to sites (Class 5 Drivers License required, with minimum 2 years experience Driving / Clean Drivers Abstract). Some tasks would include using hand tools, wheel barrows, shovels. Assisting with sump-pump changes, and service calls. Assisting with shop and other site tasks, such as helping carpenters complete repairs. Or delivering items to sites. Starting Wage for skilled laborer: $20 - $26 , depending on experience and skillset... to be assessed within 4-6 weeks and bumped up accordingly. Health benefits available.
