Sound v good for this price range. Probably have to spend close to a grand for significantly better sound.

Just sold a set of Technics SB7000 for$600 that didnt sound as good. Tech had more bass, but mids and highs these Paisleys are better.

A good comparison for me is Energy 22 which Ive owned several - i think these have slightly better sound, but nicer build quality. Except for Energy Ref Connoiseurs which are a different cat from standard E 22.

V nice build quality - heavy. Real wood veneer. Finished on all 6 sides, and maybe solid wood corners - nicely rounded.

Cosmetics fair - some dings to the cabinets. See photos.

One of Ian Paisley's first serious speaker brands. I forget the details, but Ian went on to be part of one or more well known Canadian speaker companies. EPI maybe?

Grills are good, drivers are good. I had one tweeter pro repaired few years back....think a voice coil wire was broken?

Use some kind of rubber or butyl for woofer surround, so dont need refoaming. I think i recall a minor sag in one of the surrounds but not affecting sound that I can tell.
