Overview:

TRAVEL TRANSPORT is seeking an experienced licensed Truck Mechanic to join their Orangeville team. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of trucks.

Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in truck-trailer systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Truck Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of repair techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience working with power tools and heavy machinery
- Previous experience working on industrial equipment


Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
