New Millenium Tire of Windsor is seeking a Full Time Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team!

Duties & Responsibilities include:

Prefered Licenced Mechanic.
Follow company health & safety policies
Inspect trucks & trailers daily – preventative maintenance
Repair mechanical breakdowns
Working outside
Knowledge of the proper handling of hand/power tools
Record all work completed on work order form
Issue PO #'s on all part orders
Must be able to perform tire changes Requirements:
General knowledge of engine scanning systems
Must be able to work on Mack, Peterbilt, Freightliners & Manac Trailers
Must have knowledge on DPF Systems, Electrical Systems, Air Systems, Fuel Systems & Brake Systems.
Must be able to trouble shoot.
Maintains a safe and clean work area
Must be motivated
Must be a self-starter, productive and efficient worker
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Welding & fabrication experience is considered an asset
